Teacher Candidates

As a student of a publicly funded faculty of education in Ontario, you are likely to accept a position to teach in the province. Your employer may require a QECO Statement of Evaluation or a student Letter of Evaluation which they will use to pay you what you deserve. Without a QECO evaluation, you will be paid by your school board at the lowest level until you obtain your evaluation. The best part of the QECO’s service is that it is free. So, QECO is pleased to offer you this valuable service and welcomes your application.

You are eligible for a QECO student evaluation if:

• You are enrolled in an Ontario faculty of education
• You are going to graduate this year
• If QECO receives your application between January 1 and April 30 (no exceptions)
• If all your supporting documentation is received by July 15
